WOODSTOCK POLICE DEPARTMENT SET TO HOST 2023 NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

 
September 21, 2023 - The Woodstock Police Department, in partnership with other local public safety agencies, will host the 40th annual National Night Out to be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., on the Woodstock Arts Event Green at 111 Elm Street in Woodstock.
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen police and community partnerships, and to send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are uniting to fight crime.
This event will feature K9 demonstrations, bounce houses, public safety equipment on display, Safekids, and more activities for children of all ages. Food and drinks will be available courtesy of the Woodstock Public Safety Foundation.
Other partnering agencies include: Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Georgia State Patrol (GSP), Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Cherokee County Marshal’s Office, Cherokee County School Police, Cherokee County E-911 Center, Cherokee County Emergency Management Agency, Canton Police Department, Holly Springs Police Department, Ball Ground Police Department, and Woodstock Fire Department.
Public safety partners, including local businesses and organizations who work to make our community better, will also be in attendance.
