Grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Ensures Woodstock Fire Department is Better Prepared

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has awarded a grant to Woodstock Fire Department to ensure Woodstock's first responders have the necessary equipment to keep the community safe. The grant will be used to purchase a side-by-side all terrain vehicle, fulfilling a critical need within the department.

“We are grateful to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation for this generous grant to purchase a side-by-side all terrain vehicle," said Assistant Fire Chief Jimmy Eley. "This new piece of equipment will be used to provide emergency services to difficult to reach areas during special events like parades or on the city's extensive trail system."

Having the appropriate tools on hand makes all the difference in allowing first responders to effectively serve their communities and save lives. For the past 18 years, donations have been the driving force behind Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation® supporting first responders and public safety organizations nationwide.
